This comprehensive course includes 55 hours of classroom instruction and 21 hours of clinical training at a long-term care facility. The program will introduce you to the clinical responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant. Topics covered include: Basic nursing concepts and principles, medical terminology and documentation, legal and ethical aspects of health care, patient rights and dignity. This program includes taking the Massachusetts Certified Nurse Assistant exam as a requisite for course completion.
