RCC is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all learners, regardless of background. RCC proudly accepts applications from Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students, Temporary Protected Status students, asylum students, undocumented students, and students with a temporary immigration status.

In-State Tuition
To qualify for in-state tuition rates at Massachusetts community colleges, students must provide proof of U.S. citizenship, lawful immigrant or permanent resident status, or another legal immigration status, along with at least six months of residency in Massachusetts. Enacted in 2023, the MA Tuition Equity Law expands access to in-state tuition and
state financial aid for undocumented students who meet the following criteria:
• Attended high school in Massachusetts for at least three years and earned a high
school diploma or GED equivalent.

Financial Assistance
Undocumented students are not eligible for federal financial aid; however, you are encouraged to review available RCC scholarships, as RCC scholarships are open to all qualified RCC students.
