NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE MAY 2014 RESEARCH SKILLS WORKSHOP
This is a two-week intensive workshop.
May 12– 23, 2014
8:30AM – 3:30PM
One prerequisite is participation in the Math Workshops. These Math workshops will be offered on 3 Saturdays - April 19th, April 26th and May 10th - and will cover the math that is necessary for a successful research skills workshop and later internships.
Learn essential techniques of the Biotechnology industry including:
Solutions Preparation; Spectrophotometry; Protein Identification and Quantitation;
PCR; Gel Electrophoresis; ELISA
This non-credit workshop is open to currently enrolled RCC STEM Students and other
UMLSAMP students at no cost to students. Priority will be given to RCC Students.
Prerequisites: Chemistry; Biology; Intermediate Algebra or equivalent; Math Workshops
or Waiver*
